markto.ch lets you post different types of listings depending on what you want to offer or seek. The main categories are selected during ad creation, and the platform supports these common types:

How to Choose & Mark the Type
- Log in to your markto.ch account
(Required for posting ads) - Go to Post an Ad / Anzeige aufgeben
- Usually a big button in the top menu or homepage.
- Select the category & type
- First choose the main category (e.g., Electronics, Household, Services, Jobs, Real Estate).
- In most categories, you’ll see a dropdown or radio buttons for:
- Verkaufen / For Sale (default)
- Gesucht / Wanted
- Zu vermieten / For Rent (available in tools, real estate, vehicles, etc.)
- Dienstleistung / Service (in Services & Jobs section)
- Fill in the details
- For Wanted: Describe exactly what you’re looking for; price is optional (can be “up to CHF X”).
- For For Rent: Enter rental price, duration (day/week/month), deposit if any.
- For Service: Specify hourly rate, fixed price, or “on request”; describe scope clearly.
- Publish the ad
- The selected type appears as a label or badge on the listing (e.g., “Gesucht”, “Zu vermieten”, “Dienstleistung”) so others know immediately.
Quick Tips for Each Type
- For Sale: Add clear price, condition, photos – most common type.
- Wanted: Be specific (“Wanted: 27-inch monitor, max CHF 150, Zürich area”) to get relevant offers.
- For Rent: State pickup/return rules, damage policy, and availability calendar in description.
- Service: List qualifications, availability, references (e.g., “5+ years experience”), and suggest WhatsApp call for details.
If the type you need isn’t available in your category, use the description text to clarify (e.g., “This is a rental listing” or “Offering tutoring service”).
