Exporting Your Data: Downloading Personal Information<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

markto.ch allows you to request and download a copy of your personal data under privacy laws (Swiss DPA and GDPR principles for EU users). This includes information the platform holds about you, such as profile details, listings, messages, favorites, and activity logs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Request and Download Your Data<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Log in<\/strong> to your markto.ch account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click your profile icon or name in the top-right corner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Go to Settings<\/strong>, Account Settings<\/strong>, Privacy<\/strong>, or Data & Privacy<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Look for a section called one of these:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                    • Notification and login history<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                    • Any verification documents (if you applied for Trusted Seller)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                    • Account creation date, last login, IP logs (if stored)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                      What\u2019s Usually NOT Included<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      • Data of other users (e.g., messages from them are anonymized or limited)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                      • Internal moderation notes or reports<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                      • Data deleted before the request<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                        If No Self-Service Option Is Visible<\/strong>
                        markto.ch may not yet have a one-click export tool (common on smaller platforms). In that case:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                        1. Go to the footer \u2192 click Contact<\/strong> or Support<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                        2. Send a message:
                          \u201cHello, I would like to exercise my right to access and download my personal data under Swiss DPA \/ GDPR. Please provide instructions or send me an export of all personal information associated with my account [your-email@example.com]. Thank you.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                        3. Support will guide you or send the data directly (usually via secure link).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                          • The export link is usually time-limited \u2014 download promptly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
