markto.ch may send newsletters, promotional emails, or updates about new features, deals, or platform news. You can easily opt in or out of these non-essential communications.
How to Access Subscription Preferences
- Log in to your markto.ch account.
- Click your profile icon or name (top-right corner).
- Select Settings, Account Settings, Preferences, Notifications, or Email Preferences.
- Look for a section labeled Newsletter, Promotions, Marketing Emails, Subscriptions, Email Subscriptions, or Communications.
Common Subscription Options You Can Control
Toggle or checkbox settings typically include:
- Newsletter – periodic updates about platform tips, local market trends, or featured categories
- Promotions & Offers – emails about paid features, boosts, discounts, or partner deals
- Product updates & news – announcements about new features, changes, or events
- Surveys & feedback requests – occasional invites to share opinions
Step-by-Step: Turning Subscriptions On or Off
- In the relevant section, find each subscription type.
- Use the toggle switch or checkbox:
- On / checked = receive these emails
- Off / unchecked = stop receiving them
- Some platforms have a single master toggle:
- “Receive marketing & promotional emails”
- “Subscribe to newsletter”
- Click Save, Update Preferences, Apply, or Confirm Changes at the bottom.
Alternative Quick Opt-Out
- Open any newsletter or promotional email you receive from markto.ch.
- Scroll to the bottom and click the Unsubscribe oder Manage preferences link.
- This usually takes you directly to the same settings page or instantly unsubscribes you from that category.
Quick Recommended Setup
- Off for promotions and newsletters if you want fewer emails
- On only if you enjoy platform updates or want to hear about new features/deals
- Essential alerts (messages, security, account activity) are separate — they are not affected by these toggles
Tips
- Changes apply to future emails (you won’t receive retroactive unsubscribe for past messages).
- If you unsubscribe via email link, it may only affect one category — check your settings to confirm everything is off if desired.
- markto.ch respects Swiss/EU privacy laws — unsubscribing is permanent unless you re-enable later.
- On mobile: same process — tap profile → Settings → look for Newsletter or Marketing section.
Troubleshooting
- Still receiving emails after turning off? Wait 24–48 hours (processing delay), check spam/junk folder, or use the unsubscribe link in the email.
- No subscription options visible? markto.ch may not send promotional content yet — or check under Notifications instead of a separate section.
- Want total silence except critical alerts? Turn off all non-essential toggles and use the unsubscribe link in any remaining emails.
