markto.ch keeps private listings completely free — there are no paid bumping, highlighting, featured placement, or premium renewal options for individual sellers. Renewing or reposting expired ads is always 100% free.
How Listings Expire
- Standard private ads stay active for 30 days (some categories like real estate or vehicles may have 60–90 days).
- After expiry the ad is automatically hidden from public search and categories.
- It remains visible to you in “Meine Anzeigen” under expired/archived items.
How to Renew / Repost an Expired Listing (Free)
- Log in → go to “Meine Anzeigen” (My Ads) via profile dropdown or top menu.
- Find the expired ad
Look for listings labeled “Abgelaufen” / “Expired” or in an archived/expired section. - Renew with one click
- Click the ad → look for “Erneuern”, “Wieder veröffentlichen”, “Republish” or “Als neu veröffentlichen” button.
- Click it → the ad is immediately reactivated with the same content, photos, price, description and contact settings.
- A new 30-day visibility period starts from the renewal date.
- Optional: Edit before renewing
- You can change title, price, photos, description or location first.
- Preview to see how buyers will view it → then renew.
Reposting as a New Ad (Alternative Method)
If the “renew” button is missing or you want a completely fresh start:
- Click “Anzeige aufgeben” / “Post Ad”.
- Duplicate content manually (copy-paste title, description; re-upload photos).
- Publish → new ad with new 30-day timer and new URL.
